Let us not abandon the only book that was sent for our salvation and try to teach it to whoever we can; starting with our children and family.

Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib once said: “A brother is like gold and a friend is like diamond. If gold cracks you can melt it and make it just like it was before. Yet if a diamond cracks, it can never be like it was before.”

"Verily, you possess the greatest morals" It is narrated that a Bedouin requested from Imam Ali to name the morals of the Holy Prophet (PBUHH). The Imam: "do you know how to count?" The Bedouin: "yes" The Imam: "name me the pleasures of this world." The Bedouin: "The pleasures of this world are uncountable." The Imam: "You lack counting the little as Allah states "The pleasures of this world are little" and you wish to count the great as Allah states: "Verily, you possess the greatest morals."

Imam Ali Ibn Abi-Talib once said: "Take advantage of opportunities, for they pass by as clouds do."

In life, we are offered many opportunities to grow as an individual, yet some still choose to only grow their wealth. Hence, let us learn to never let a great opportunity pass by, because no cloud come around twice.

Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib once said: “Do not let your difficulties fill you with anxiety, after all it is only in the darkest nights that stars shine brightest.”

When a person goes through a difficult times, he/she is gaining more than losing. He/she is gaining knowledge, power, and forbearance.

Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib once said: "Remember that people are of two types. They are either your brethren in religion or your reflection in humanity. They are subject to infirmities and liable to commit mistakes.”

Let us learn from the letter of the Commander of the Faithful to his governor in Egypt (Malik Al-Ashtar) to never discriminate against anyone even if they are from a different race, religion or creed. Everyone should be treated with the highest level of respect and dignity.
