A spatial-temporal point process is a point process which models data that is localized at a discrete set of locations in both space and time. In particular, a spatial-temporal point process is a random collection of points where each point represents the time and location of an event.
Spatial-temporal point processes are sometimes called spatiotemporal point processes, spatio-temporal point processes, or space-time point processes.
