Informational pragmatics: an interactional perspective

Much as we did, the point of this section is to show how informational packaging is not built on static given information, but is a dynamic, two-way phenomenon shaped in interaction. We will approach this from two perspectives: (1) presuppositions and backgrounding; and (2) informational common grounding.
