Faith is the most important and greatest issue that must be instilled in the souls of children; faith is the life of hearts, and it is the foundation of any building, and a building without a foundation is destined to collapse and fall at any moment. The faith formulation for children has foundations and starting points, including:
First: Make your child love Allah Almighty
This is done by clarifying Allah's mercy and vast grace, His constant provision, and His gratitude to mankind. For example, the father should explain the benefits of teeth, hands, feet, and all the body parts, then tell his child that Allah - the Almighty - is the one who gave you all of this.
Second: Accustom your child to commitment from a young age
Accustoming children to commitment to faith from childhood and performing some of the obligatory duties such as prayer and reading the Quran, helps a lot in planting faith and deepening it in their souls when they grow up.
Third: Explain the causes and reasons
Before you tell your child: Pray, tell him: Why pray?
When a child is motivated to perform the prayer - or any other obligatory duty - on his own, and with complete faith in the prayer, then he will be much better than if he performed the prayer out of fear of the stick.
Fourth: Be a role model for them
There is nothing that accelerates the children's commitment to religion, and strengthens the relationship with faith and Islamic duties better than for the parents to be a role model and the highest example for their children.
Fifth: Raising children on spirituality
Spirituality deepens religious motives in children, and push them towards a greater relationship with the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and then towards construction and good deeds, such as the issues of Paradise and its bliss, and the issues of Hell and its misery and wretchedness, and in other words: (encouragement and intimidation).
