What problem do parents face when they evaluate children's behavior?
Some studies indicate that the biggest major problem they face is: (disobedience, and rebellion)
Disobeying orders means losing guidance for its educational value, for “the one who is not obeyed has no say,” as it was narrated on the authority of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
Unless we go to the educational basis and know the underlying causes, the problem will not be treated, and unless we learn about ways to accustom a child to obedience, we will not understand how a person reacts to orders and instructions.
Some researchers have confirmed that there are many reasons that push a child or children to rebel, including:
First: Children do not understand the importance of obeying parents.
Second: Issuing orders without giving any clarification that is appropriate to the level of the children.
Third: The dry method; It is dealing with children, like dealing with a machine, or with a soldier who must obey the decision without question.
Fourth: Ignoring the desires of children, as they are human beings and have different tastes.
Fifth: Decisions and orders may be beyond the children’s physical and mental level.
Sixth: The weakness of the father’s personality and his lack of control over family members, so the children do not feel his prestige and positive authority.
Seventh: The presence of an instigator outside the family for bad motives, such as family and social disputes and others.
These causes should be monitored in the living reality and pursued in order to reduce their severity or cut them off at the roots so that parents can guide and train their children to obey orders and instructions that benefit them and support them in building their future.
