Develop the strength points of your child
4:23:14 2023-10-07 1346

Take some time to recognize your child's talents and help him develop them. As he becomes more confident in himself while practicing his favorite activities, he will gain a healthy level of self-esteem and gain a sense of satisfaction from spending his time wisely, happily, and in a meaningful and useful way.

These lessons are especially important for shy children, as they - as well as shy adults - tend to underestimate their good deeds, and instead focus on the weaknesses in their work. Shy children, in particular, focus on their shortcomings and overlook other wonderful traits in their personalities. I think they focus on their mistakes not because they are terrible, but because they happen rarely and therefore appear apparent. This prejudice then affects their decisions and their view of themselves, thus exacerbating and increasing their shyness.

But when shy children learn to adopt a more empowered view of themselves, they will find that shyness is just part of their personality and only appears in specific situations. When they spend their time doing what they love, shyness will disappear. Most importantly, they gain confidence, feel they can master a task that is important to them, and can form friendships and relationships that include their favorite activities. This is why they rarely feel shy when talking about their favorite topic with a shy person. Rather, they are happy when talking about what they love, so they do not focus on stress and avoid making mistakes.

Focusing on your child's strengths will also help him develop a healthy perspective on life as a whole. If he finds that he is talented at something at an early age, he will be able to develop that talent and make better decisions about how to spend his time and direct his life in the best way. He can learn to benefit from this activity to enrich his social life, whether by enrolling in educational courses to practice this activity or by finding other children who share the same activity with him or by introducing children to that activity. On the other hand, if he is never encouraged to develop his interests, he will be on the cusp of adulthood with little self-awareness and a lot of destructive behavior. He will fall behind his peers - be delayed in development - and will have to chase them all the time until he finally figures out what to do. In life, he forms close relationships with adults and is comfortable with the nature of his personality.
