A man who appears to be poor and chaste entered a store selling blankets, and asked the owner of the store about the cheapest blankets he had because he needs 6 blankets for his family, and he only has 25 dinars, as he told the shop owner.
The owner of the shop told him: I have a Chinese type, but it is great for heating. The price of the blanket is very cheap, only 5 dinars, and it has a special offer.
If you buy 5 of them, you get the sixth for free
The poor man's mind was relieved and he took out 25 dinars
The price of five blankets so that the sixth can be given as a gift.
And he took the blankets and walked with joy in his eyes.
After the poor man left, a friend of the shop owner who was standing looked at him and asked him:
Isn't this blanket that you said is the best and most expensive blanket you have, and you sold it to me last week, while I was your friend, for 60 dinars?!!
Shopkeeper replied: By Allah, my dear friend, it really is, and I sold it to you with 60 dinars without one dinar of gain.
But I trade with Allah and gave it out to Allah out of compassion for this poor man and his family from the cold of winter that is approaching.
I hope that my Lord will protect me because of this from the heat of Hell.
By ِAllah, had it not been for this man's self-esteem, I would have given him all the blankets for free, but I did not want to embarrass him or show him that I gave charity to him, and hurt his dignity.
