Contentment is a treasure
One of the most beautiful and noble qualities that a believer possesses is contentment and preserving the soul from the humiliation of greed, for contentment is an attribute that shows self-esteem and lofty morals. That is why our Imams (peace be upon them) urged us to adopt this characteristic, when the Prince of the believers (peace be upon him) was asked about His Almighty saying: {so we shall give him a good life}, he said: it is contentment.
In order to obtain the treasure of contentment, you must follow the following tips:
- Do not compare yourself with others, for each person has his own circumstances, as no one is perfect, perfection is for Allah alone.
- Be kind and joyful, and make the simplest things a source for your happiness.
- Be close to yourself and provide what you can for yourself.
-Make your life simple, do not concern yourself with thinking about the future, and live your day.
-Understand that failure is a stepping stone to getting over it.
-Define your interests and avoid distractions.
-Let the simple things be your concern to enjoy.
-Praise and thanking Allah are among the causes of contentment.
And this is how we will be able to get rid of everything that puts us in the negative thinking circle and having contentment with what Allah has given us.
