The importance of pledges and the severity of breaking them
One of the serious responsibilities of a person in life is to keep the pledges that he is committed to. And he feels the ugliness of breaking it and the good fulfillment of it in all individual and social matters, whether it is a religion or not, because realizing the necessity of fulfilling the pledge is from the nature of man, and it is one of the foundations of his happiness. The future of his life, hence the need to pay attention to the correct education and take advantage of its fruitful and valuable results and beware of things that harm the basis of instinct, as they are the foundations of health and moral integrity.
Ethics governs the respect and appreciation of every verbal decision made between the two parties, even if it does not have a formal and legal guarantee, and that breaking a pledge is, in fact, liberation from the shackles of honor and bullying, and that breaking promises without the consent of both parties is a kind of indecency
The breaking of pledges is the most influential factor in the dispersion of human society, and its prevalence among them causes weakness and degradation, and weakens the cords of affection between people. There is no doubt that a society that is governed by dispersion and the loss of mutual trust will lose the balance and equality of life, and no one will be reassured by anyone, even the closest to the closest ones. The fulfillment of the pledge is one of the factors of social coexistence, and it is one of the pillars of the happiness of society, and it has a great impact on all affairs of people’s lives, and it is the basis on which progress, success, and stability are built.
The first condition in pledges is that a person looks at his potential and capabilities, and warns against making a decision that is outside the limits of his capabilities and powers, because if he was unable to achieve his decision even if that was due to the inability to do so, he would be considered responsible for that, therefore putting himself in the face of blame and criticism.
