 is a combination of the two methods given above. In Fig. 1 there are 6 cells arranged 3 in series and 2 in parallel. In Fig. 2 the same 6 cells are coupled 2 in series and 3 in parallel. In each case the total number of cells is the product of the number in series and the number in 'parallel. Ohm's Law applied to this coupling is:
