At home, at work, or among friends, always be the person who inspires optimism, and you will find that it reflects on you.
If you are facing a challenge, whether it is climbing a mountain or finishing a project at work, what kind of people do you want to be around? The pessimists who remind you of the possibilities of failure, or the optimists who provide you with reasons to succeed?
Think about the people you want to be around. Think about the people who represent fun if they are around you. What do they have in common? Is there a pessimist among them who always expects the worst? No.
We are drawn to people who look at life with positive expectations.
Living a contented life is one of the challenges in our lives, and the best way to face the challenge is with optimism.
Scientists have had a very difficult time predicting a person’s happiness based on the events they have experienced, and the best performance in predicting happiness instead of the bad or good events that a person has endured in his life is the beliefs and approaches that a person holds.
