Despite the common belief that diabetics should avoid sugar completely, the reality is a bit complicated. The amount of sugar a person with diabetes can eat daily depends on several factors, such as the type of diabetes, general health, and individual dietary plans.

For individuals with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, maintaining stable blood sugar levels is important to prevent complications. This includes monitoring carbohydrate intake because it greatly affects blood sugar levels and can lead to a rapid increase in glucose levels. In the blood, which raises concern.
