Find out how to diagnose heart failure in a timely manner
Doctors call heart failure syndrome “heart cancer” because, like cancer, its symptoms do not appear in the early stages.
Dr. Alexander Myasnikov points out that in fact there is no relationship between heart failure syndrome and cancer. All there is is a gradual decrease in blood pumping, which threatens the person with death.
According to him, the serious signs that indicate heart failure are:
- Rapid fatigue;
- Feeling short of breath even when making a small physical effort;
- Swelling of the lower extremities;
- waking up at night because of the feeling of suffocation;
- Decreased urine output;
- Obesity.
He says: "These symptoms appear at an advanced stage of heart failure syndrome. Therefore, the appearance of these symptoms indicates that it is too late."
According to him, the first stage of heart failure according to cardiologists is risk factors for developing heart failure syndrome with no structural changes in the heart.
The risk factors are: smoking; Overweight; high blood pressure; high blood sugar level; Kidney disease; and renal failure.
He says: “The second stage of heart failure is also without symptoms. The appearance of symptoms indicates that the heart failure syndrome is in the third stage.”
